TimI have built my career around retailing ideas.

I have played a lead role in planning, coordinating, managing and delivering marketing and communication strategies for a range of government and non-government organisations over the past 15 years, including serving five years as Director of Marketing at Monash University. I have also won a range of awards and am regularly invited to speak on marketing and innovation at conferences both nationally and internationally.

I approach each job for Twig in the same way – looking at opportunities to insert ideas and opportunities into a whole range of materials in a strategic way. So that clients are proud of the outcome – and audiences remember the message.

My general advice: never believe any marketer who says they have all the answers for your organisation. Look instead for someone who will listen to your challenges and then come up with a practical, evidence-based plan, so you have confidence the campaign will deliver clear returns on your investment.

Jacqui Francis

Research consultant

JacquiSynthesising latest research and trends is helpful for any organisation – from one-person start-ups to huge organisations. I examine existing research across a wide range of sectors to provide clients with an overview of opportunities, threats and trends to be aware of.

I also help run focus groups and coordinate our in-house market research.

I worked as a primary teacher for well over a decade and have completed a Master of Education degree. I recently chose to move from the front of the classroom to the back and am a PhD candidate at the University of Melbourne, examining ways to effective apply positive psychology in the classroom to improve education outcomes and student wellbeing.

Amanda Johnson

Account Manager and Marketing Consultant

AmandaA recent graduate from La Trobe University with a Bachelor of Business (Marketing and Management), I have interests and experience that range between agriculture, consumer behaviour, marketing and management, and hospitality. Over the past ten years I have helped launch several successful restaurants and I have a clear insight into defining and maintaining positive customer relationships and experiences.

Born and raised in regional Victoria and based in Twig’s Shepparton office, I have a passion for delivering marketing strategies, content and campaigns that are practical, relevant and effective to target markets, particularly to consumers outside the metropolitan boundaries.

I have decided to return to university in the coming months to complete a Master in Business Administration (MBA).
