I have built my career around retailing ideas.
I founded Twig Marketing in 2010, after almost two decades in marketing, corporate affairs and journalism and love any opportunity to apply my experience and ideas to new clients – large or small.
I have played a lead role in planning, coordinating, managing and delivering marketing and communication strategies for a range of government and non-government organisations over the past 13 years, including serving five years as Director of Marketing at Monash University. I have also won a range of awards and am regularly invited to speak on marketing and innovation at conferences both nationally and internationally.
I approach each job for Twig in the same way – looking at opportunities to insert ideas and opportunities into a whole range of materials in a strategic way. So that clients are proud of the outcome – and audiences remember the message.
My one tip: Never believe any marketer who says they have all the answers for your organisation. Look instead for someone who will listen to your challenges and then come up with a practical, evidence-based plan, so you have confidence the campaign will deliver clear returns on your investment.
